On May 4, 1978, paratrooper Skillie Human jumped from his transport plane over Cassinga, and was never seen alive again. This song is the story of “Skillie” on that fateful day. More than forty years later, his remains have finally been found and the Parabat Veterans Organization (PVO) is working to bring him home.
“We all love to think back on the times when we felt carefree and happy. I wrote this music to help us do just that…to bring back those feelings and memories so they can support us during times of stress and uncertainly.” said Julie Neway about “Carefree”, her new instrumental composition.
“In these challenging times when we’re reminded of our connectedness to each other and the planet we all live on, please remember to take a moment for an outdoor basic walk” said Julie Neway about her new composition, Basewalk, “a relaxed Basewalk to breathe the living air…with proper social distancing, of course!”
“This is a song of hope in difficult times. The intro tells the story of how our Earth began – it emphasizes how magnificent our beautiful planet is in the vastness of space.” aid Singer-songwriter Justin Neway about his new song, Remember To Dream. “So often we lose touch with our connection to the rest of the universe, and we forget we are part of something much bigger than ourselves.”
We’re delighted to present “I Am Here”, a composition by Julie Neway. Here’s what composer Julie had to say about her composition… “People may come and go in your life but I AM HERE, a lifetime friend…”
